Just came out to my dad. He took it very well considering all things and told me that it didn’t change anything, that our relationship would only grow from this. I truly believe we will become closer from this, not just my dad, but my entire family. I know it’s a big weight off not only my shoulders, but also for my mom who had to continuously dodge the question every time my dad brought it up.

I finally feel like things are moving in the right direction. The past couple months have been a very long road of ups and downs, but there’s been so much growth and change. I’m proud of the strides I’ve made and I’ll keep on trucking with my head held high, surrounded only by positive energy.
